Under Construction…

I am in the process of redesigning this blog and my logo.

I am working to make it more mobile friendly and user friendly.

you can help me…

Please leave me a comment letting me know two things: one, what you like about my blog and two, what you dislike or bugs you or even a pet peeve. I want this blog to be a happy place where we can come together and create and be happy. I will have a better chance if you give me feedback. ( I suck at reading minds 🙂 ) So please leave that comment and I will try to make this blog a happy place!!!

Tin of Cards, part one

I started the Tin of Cards kit by making the tabs and one set of Cards.

The tabs were a little tricky as the straps had to line up just right, as you will see in the pictures I wasn’t quite successful on some of them.

The addition of the cardstock was very easy, just line them up at the bottom corner leaving about an eighth of an inch all around.

The first set of Cards was fairly straightforward the only confusing part was wether to adhere the cardstock to the inside back of the cardstock or the inside front. I chose the inside front and that became a little tricky with the glue.

For easier application I would go with the inside back of the cardstock.

Please comment below on if you have completed this kit.

I would also like feedback on the style of my photos…slideshow or clickable individual photos?

Thank you in advance and as always keep creating!

Just a Note

I know some of you have been waiting for my post on the Tin of Cards and I promise it is coming. With that being said, I work two overnight shift in town and all though it’s not much it throws my whole week off.
I have completed the dividers and a set of the cards which I will post tonight. I have to admit when I moved my craft stuff back to my house I temporarily lost my Tin of Cards stamp set. Minor setbacks but I wanted you to know I haven’t gone off grid again.

Over the next week I will put together the cards and the tin.

I will share with you each of the card designs as well as my thoughts on the project.

So far just looking at the project up close I think it s a great addition to any stampers craft room.

I know that for me, even when I am stamping all the time it seems that when I NEED a card I don’t have one handy.

I also know that when I really need a card I also don’t have time to create one from scratch.

This kit fixes that problem, not only does it have everything you need to create a card quick it has a place to keep cards for those unexpected occasions.

Stay tuned to see the cards made from this kit and the project inspired by this kit.
